Sandstone Frog.

Started from dome shaped block already roughly flattened on bottom.

1st problem discussed - which way of the stone gave most possibility. M. H. showed me the line of the "fil" in the stone which made the tall way dangerous.

I suggested using the domed side as the top and having the frog sit less tall than she will in the "big piece."

First action to mark off with charcoal lines & eagles which evened up the stone roughly. Then with short flat chisel strike off en digrossisant this superfluous side stone. Then on top surface with charcoal marked very much enlarged the angle of the head, so [[image]] vert. on line with the front of this, all across the stone, a straight line
