Dear Mr. Melcher-

A point we didn't cover while I was being questioned by a Jewish rabbi on one hand and trying to answer your phone call on the other, was this matter of "life" versus "imagination". 

You often hear sculptors say "I don't work from life anymore as I don't want just to copy figures I work from imagination"
