First Sculpture Award Goes to Grace M. Johnson for Her Work, 'The Lamb.'

Ex-Governor Whitman's Wife a Winner in Exhibition at the Fine Arts Building.

Women artists in various parts of the country won prizes at the forty-fifth annual exhibition of the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors, which was opened with a reception last night at the American Fine Arts Society Building, 215 West Fifty-seventh Street. The winning oil paintings, water-colors and sculptures were chosen from entries from thirty-nine States. 
The first Anna Hyatt Huntington Prize of $200 for sculpture went to Grace Mott Johnson of Pleasantville, N.Y., sculptor of animals, for her work called "The Lamb."
The second Anna Hyatt Huntington Prize of $100 for sculpture was awarded to Cornelia Van Aiken
