Dear Colonel Twachtman,
Why don't you try to get Guarino in at either Kennedy's or Keppel's? A man with a reputation to make through monotypes would stand a much better chance at one of the print dealers than with us. I would like to be able to do something for him both on account of your recommendation and because I used to know his wife, but I really don't think we would have a chance to do for him what he ought to have done.

Sincerely yours,

Colonel J. Alden Twachtman,
