Dear Colonel Twachtman,
Present conditions and lack of space are making it necessary for us to return a number of pictures.
Mr. Twatchman's painting "Spring at Cos Cob", which we have had here since January 1929, has been shown repeatedly, but without success, and we should now like to have your permission to return it to the Manhattan Storage Warehouse Corporation.
We are of course very sorry indeed that we have not been able to arouse buying interest in this.
