We send by the mail that carries this, a copy of Dr French's Address to Freedmen. We have had it on hand for near three months, but have just got it out, being hindered by the necessity of moving our office & other difficulties growing out of that fact. Meanwhile Gen. Wild, for whom 300 copies were ordered has removed, and we are even in doubt, as to whether they may be wanted by the Bureau. We are sorry that we have been so delayed; for we think that the Address would have done good if published, - & perhaps, it may yet prove mighty servicable.

We printed 1000 copies, & should be glad to sell the entire number to the Bureau, for $125.00. If such things are proper, they could very easily be disposed of at 25 cents per copy, by any one having
