Sir, I have the honor to state that requisition has been made and urgent personal application for wood for the Small Pox Hospital at Harrisburg S. C.; still no attention is paid to the matter; the patients are suffering severely for want of fire and I respectfully urge that the matter be attended to immediately. I deem it proper to add that I
am obliged always to apply several times before supplies of wood can be obtained, it is becoming impossible for me carry on the Hospitals in this way.
