The other buildings at this place which were used for storehouses by the Commissary and Quarter Master Departments of the Rebel Government were taken or as they style it "Impressed" by the Military authorities-from the owners [crossed out] as [crossed out] much against their will as it was against their interests at the time as they were receiving fabulous sums of money nominally- for using the buildings for storing Cotton. 

The owners of all such buildings however received rent from the Confederate Government and had no objection beyond that of selfishnesses to have them appropriated for such purposes 

If under such Circumstances the property is subject to seizure forfeiture or Confiscation during the life time of the Owner- Send an order to that effect and it will be executed Instanter
