Sir:
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of copies forwarded by your communications addressed to T.C. Callicot, Sup'g Spec'l Treas'y Dep't by Capt. C.T. Watson, Chief Q.M. and Brig. Genl. Tillson, A. Asst. Com'r of the Bureau of Refugees &c &c for the state of Georgia, requesting him to turn over to the Bureau certain clothing and other personal property in his possession as agent, seized from the late so called Confederate States and of a letter from Genl. Tillson to the Commissioner of the Bureau informing him of the refusal of the agent so to turn over the property, and of his sale of the same for inadequate prices, to the loss and injury of the Government.

Genl Tillson states that his application for the property was made under the provisions of the Executive order on June 15th 1865, embraced in General Order No. 110, C.S.
