Major Grey

Sir
I have the honor to report to you that I have leased the shops that we were looking at when you was here, or at least I have ordered them to vacate the premises. They have not made any propposition yet. They say they can prove that it all belongs to them but the shed. I will let you know from time to time how the thing is working.

I hope you are well by this time. I have felt uneasy about you, sinse I saw you last.

I am going to ask you for leave of absence tomorrow, and hope you will help me all you can, and oblige. yours truly
