Office Provost Court for said District July 25th 1865

In the matter of the application for lot and buildings the property of Mrs M.V. Stiles on Lot Letter D. No. Oglethorpe W - Farm Street and now used as a school for colored individuals - or rent of them.

It is ordered that, if the premises are used for the purposes of a public school, rent should be paid from the post civil fund. But if they are not thus used, that the occupants or the persons using the same pay to Mrs. M.V. Stiles rent from the date of their occupancy or use, or immediately vacate the premises and turn them over to the said applicant; provided that any such vacating of the said premises shall not relieve him or them from any liability for back rent. 

And it is further ordered that the rent for which said premises were let prior to first January 1861 - shall be the measure of rent to which the said Ms. M.V. Stiles shall be entitled to under this decision.
