I was in Lexington Ga the other day and at my suggestion the citizens of the place sent a request that you could address them at some day that would suit your Convenience, I have just seen Dr. Willis Willingham from Lexington and by writing to him what time you will come, he will meet you at the Depot and entertain you at his house.

I told the citizens what good had been done by your address in Athens, and urged upon them by all means if possible to get you to visit the County.  The whole system of labor is completely deranged and will remain so unless they are enlightened by some officer of the U.S. Government.  The County is a large one and has been producing heretofore
