Forwards claim of Miss H. Hannahan for balance due her of $140. for teaching school at Baton Rouge, La, from March 1st to June 10th 1867. to which duty she was assigned by the Bureau, with endorsement stating that the claim is undoubtedly a just one but there is no appropriation from which to pay the same. That there are many claims of this character and therefore submits this for this decision of the Com'r. |

Com'r relative the authorities of Caddo Parish allowing two 2 white men Pettman and Henly who were taken in court to receive sentence for murdering some freedmen to walk deliberately out of court and make good their escap. |
