Supt of Schools, refering to so much of Cir. Letter of April 13" 1869. as directs the turning over of such office furniture and stationery as may be required by the Supt of Schools and Agents for payment of Bounties to them. States that Major Deane. D.O. will have on hand on the 30th inst. a large amount of stationery than will be required and recommends that he be instructed to turn over only such amount as may be required for one year and to dispose of the remainder at auction. The Agents for the payment of Bounties not having been designated, has no means of knowing the amount of stationery & furniture that may be required. |

Requests that he be authorized to employ a messenger at a salary not to exceed $15. per mo. - but if not more than $125. can be allowed his office - that Mr. Carr's salary be fixed at $110.00 and the remaining $15. for a messenger. |

States that the lady is in needy circumstances and hopes something will be done in her case. |
