Dear Bob: 
As I think I told you the last time I saw you, I am planning to have an exhibition from December 15 to January 4 centered around the nativity theme. 

I wonder whether you would have one or two or three madonnas or nativity pictures which would be appropriate and whether you would be willing to lend them to the Museum for that period. 

It is just possible that I will be in New York early in November, and if so, I will drop by to see you. Meanwhile, anything you can do to help with this exhibition will be most greatly appreciated. Also, I should be grateful for any photographs of pictures you may be able to send.
