Dear Dick:
I never received any further confirmation from you regarding the Degas drawings which you spoke of when you were here in the connection with the exhibition which you are planning this spring.
Yesterday, however, Budworth phoned us to inquire about this, and as I had no definite news from you, we were unable to give them any answer ourselves.
The two drawings in question were:
"Etude de Cavalier"
"Danseuse se Grattan le Dos"
Should you want these, will you be good enough to write us an official letter requesting the loan, and stating exhibition dates, when the drawings will be called for and returned. We need this for our records. For your information, should you borrow these drawings, they would be insured under our own policy.
With best wishes, I am
Yours very sincerely,
