Dear Dick:

Many thanks for your good lines of March 30th. I hasten to answer as, from the phrasing of your letter, it would seen that there might still be a possibility of doing some business in Texas.

You state as follows: "It (the Sisley) has a good deal of competition from some rather more expensive pictures which she is, apparently, determined to secure."

As you can see for yourself from the catalogue I sent you, there is really an enormous choice of appealing paintings of very fine quality and at all prices which I feel sure would interest the lady in question.

Is there not a chance of your going over the catalogue with her, particularly so as some of the pictures are illustrated, or would you care to give me her name so that I may get in touch with her directly. If you do the latter, you might give me some idea of which artists she has a preference for.

Kindly note that in the catalogue Nos. 2, 17, 18, 21, 23 and 24 are not for sale. Otherwise all the others are.

Looking forward to hearing from you in this regard, and with many thanks in advance for your kind help, I am

As ever -
Yours sincerely,

(Robert M. Levy)
