Dear Dr. Heil:

I hope you are in receipt of my lines of a few days ago, and that this will find you fully recovered.

Today I should like to ask you for a small favor which, I hope, will not trouble you too much to do for me. When last in Detroit, I left a pair of paintings by PANINI with a client of mine, who meanwhile decided not to keep them. Inasmuch as this party is going South and I personally cannot come to Detroit again, I took the liberty to instruct my party to deliver the two paintings to you at the Museum. Would you kindly instruct one of your men to pack them and ship them to us in New York, and will you let me know the charges for packing, etc.

Anticipating your endeavors and looking forward to seeing you again, I remain with my kindest regards

Yours very sincerely,

Dr. Walter Heil,
