My dear Dr. Valentiner:

Just one short line to tell you how sorry I was yesterday, not to have had an opportunity of seeing you again before leaving. Thanks to luck I managed getting the 5:20 train to New York, and am sorry to have kept you waiting the way I did and as your secretary explained to me.

I do want to tell you again how much I enjoyed seeing you, and I hope it won't be very long before I have another opportunity.

With my heartiest congratulations on your beautiful museum, and with kindest regards,

Believe me to be,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
