Dear Mrs. Valentiner,

Just a line to tell you that both my cousin and myself would very much appreciate it if you would kindly send us a little note to tell us how your husband is getting along.

I called up your hotel on Saturday and no one told me that you had left; I was just told that you were out and when I called again today, I learned that you had returned to Detroit on Thanksgiving Day.

Germain had sent you some flowers to the hotel, and we were just informed that you had left before they reached you.

With kinds regards, kindly believe me

Yours very sincerely,

Mrs. W. R. Valentiner,

Detroit, Mich.
