I send you herewith photograph of two candelabra which I have just sold. They come from the TUCHER Collection and as you know the catalogue of the TUCHER Collection was made by Geheimrath Von Falke who considers them as Venetian work of the end of the 15th century.

I know that it will give my client intense pleasure to have you write a few laudatory words on the back of the photograph, and if you will be kind enough to do so, I will appreciate it very much.

P.S.-- Should you by any chance not have the catalogue of TUCHER, I am sending you herewith the description which was made by Geheimrath Von Falke:

"EIN PAAR GOTISCHE KANDELABER FUR VOTIVKERZEN 
Eisen geschmiedet und bemalt. Schaft mit kleinem Knauf kantig gedreht auf drei Fußen, die in Tierkopfe endigen. Oben sechseckige Platte mit einer Kerzentulle und hohem Rand aus sechs durchbrochen gesmiedeten Rankenfeldern.

VENETIEN, ENDE 15, JAHRHUNDERT. Hohe 134cm, Breite 46 cm Tafel 1."
