Dear Dr. Valentiner:

I want to congratulate you on your exhibition in Detroit, as from all of the reports I have heard and read, it is a great success and I am only sorry that according to my present plans I shall not be able to go out to see it.

Could you be so good as to let me have a catalogue of the show? and are you going to have a special illustrated catalogue made of it, as it would interest me?

Furthermore, I would like to inquire from you whether you have made any plans as to your return to New York and also to Europe. I am asking you this as I may have to return to Paris in two or three weeks' time and possibly will have something interesting to show you there, either during the late Spring or in Summer, and am anxious of course, to know whether you expect to be in Europe then.

Do let me hear from you on these two points, and thanking you in advance for your kind reply,

With best wishes, I am

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
