[[check mark]] RW:KP April 7th, 1930. Dear Mrs. Weibel, Your delightful letter of April 5th reached me this morning and I hurry to thank you for it. I really feel very grateful, as in these solemn days your letter cheered me us a great deal. Too bad you also are suffering from a cold, which you can't shake off. What a marvelous pair we would have been sneaking around the museum sneezing, coughing, and limping about on a cane. However, a few lovely Spring days I hope will banish these bad Winter attributions and will make us feel ourselves again. I thank you very much for the prompt delivery of the tapestries and I am only too glad to hear that they evidently gave you great pleasure in exhibiting. I only regret not having been able to do more for you, but kindly note that whenever you think that I, respectively, our firm, can be of any help and assistance to you, we are only too glad to extend any courtesy possible to you. I am expecting Mr. Germain Seligmann tomorrow, who is arriving from Europe for, I am sorry to say, only a very short stay in the States, but certainly will be glad to read your lines. I received this morning, finally, the folder of the tapestries, which I have to look through and approve and I then will send you two exemplars, one for yourself personally, the other for the files of your archives, which I thought you might like to have there. I am not sailing before the beginning of May, so I shall come out, even if it would be for a very hurried trip, only to say 'hello' to you, Dr. Valentiner, Heil, and a few friends. Should you contemplate coming to New York, please let me know in advance so I can make arrangements, as I think it would be grand to 'step-out' one evening together. I trust these lines find you in the very best of health and sending you my kindest regards and best wishes, I am, as ever Yours sincerely, Mrs. Adele C. Weibel, Detroit Institute of Art Detroit, Michigan.
