June 16th, 1938

Dear Jack:

Thanks for your good letter of June 14th and all your efforts regarding the La Frennayes. I have written to César in Paris about this.

Many thanks also for your offer to lend us your two Picassos which is really very kind of you. Unfortunately, at this writing I have not as yet had the complete information from Paris regarding the exact scope and extent of this particular exhibition, so that for the moment, I am unable to say anything definite one way or the other.

However, if I find that we will be able to include your water color and drawing in the exhibition, I will let you know in due course.

Again many thanks. I look forward to seeing you next week.

As ever, with all good wishes,

Yours,

(Robert M. Levy)
