Dear Jack:
I really feel as if we haven't seen each other at all this winter because that brief lunch at Voisin doesn't really count.

What are your plans for this summer? Shall you be going abroad, and if so where will you go? My plans are not yet formulated but I am hoping to be in Europe for a while and perhaps we can get together over there. On the other hand, if you are coming to New York soon, do let me know and we can spend an evening together. Anyway, I am very anxious for you to see our house.
