My dear Mr. Seligmann:

Thank you very much for the photographs of the two interesting paintings.

I remember now that I have seen them before. In fact, the Roger van der Weyden was in a collection in Indianapolis for some time. Unfortunately, it is not in very good condition.

The other painting is of course a very find thing, but I am afraid that it is quite out of our reach even if the price should be reduced.
