Dear Dr. Valentiner:
About ten days ago I wrote you in very poor German, a little note, to which I joined a photograph of a [[strikethrough]] little [[/strikethrough]] small Italian sculpture.

As I have not heard from you since, I am wondering whether this letter and its enclosure, reached you. If it didn't would you be good enough to post me on it?

On the other hand, if it did, could you be so kind as to return the photograph to me, as it is the only one we had here - the negative, unfortunately, being in Paris.

Thanking you in advance for your good answer, and Hoping that you are enjoying the best of health, I am,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
