Dear Dr. Valentiner:

I just received a letter from Mr. Waegen in which he told me that the tapestry after a cartoon by Rubens, belonged to a friend of his who lived in Germany, to whom the tapestries were returned many years ago.

I am sorry I can't be more helpful on this occasion, an, with my kindest regards,
Believe me to be,
Yours very sincerely,

(René Seligmann)
