NINETY-NINE LAKE SHORE ROAD GROSSE POINTE FARMS MICHIGAN RR 2 January 1936 Robert M. Levy, Esq. 3 East 51st Street New York City, N.Y. Dear Bob: Many thanks for your kind letter about the Seurat drawing. I appreciate tremendously all your efforts in my behalf to make the drawing available for me, but I am afraid that I must wait a little before deciding definitely. In any case, I will try not to take too long and you will hear from me as soon as possible. The price which you have cited me as a special offer is certainly most tempting and I am extremely grateful to you for the favor which it implies, but as I say, I am obliged to consider various personal matters before making a decision. Indeed, you will hear from me in advance of my next New York arrival so that we can plan a meeting. Happy New Year! As ever, Jack Newberry
