Parker Jacques Seligmann & Co., Inc. 5 East 57th Street New York 22, New York Dear Mrs. Parker: Your kind letter of April 25, concerning our forthcoming exhibition on Italian decorative arts, was forwarded to me to Europe from Detroit, and followed me from place to place until my return to Detroit. It was very kind of you to answer me at such length in regard to the disposal of the Liechtenstein Collection; and it was even nicer of you to let me know that Mr. Germain Seligman is willing to lend a number of very exceptional works of art. I am delighted to know this, and I am writing to you to ask you whether Mr. Seligman will soon be back from abroad. In that case, I would like to see him, of course, in connection with the exhibition. Our section on majolica, in particular, is still quite weak, although we have about twenty-five to thirty pieces of great importance. With cordial regards, I am Very sincerely yours, (signed) Paul Grigaut Paul L. Grigaut Chief Curator PLG:em
