Mr. Germain Seligman
5 East 57th Street
New York City

Dear Mr. Seligman:

I remember well the large crucifix by Francesco di Vannuccio and it is a purchase that the Bob Jones Museum can be congratulated on. We shall be glad to make use of the photograph and record the purchase in The Art Quarterly.

Thanks for letting us know of the purchase. You know our magazine and that we record such things either in the checklist, or sometimes, in the Recent Accessions section. I can't say at the moment which will prove to be the more appropriate.

Sincerely yours,
