We have had better publicity on it than we usually have and this, in spite of the fact that the two paintings lent by the Louvre, Fantin-Latour's "Hommage a Delacroix" and Bazille's "Atelier", have not arrived as yet. It is in this connection that I would like once more to enlist your help. To give the Louvre paintings an adequate showing, Mr. Richardson and I would like to extend the duration of the exhibition from October 31st to November 6th. I believe that the great majority of the lenders will agree to this suggestion. It would give us great pleasure and greatly help us if you should consent to letting us keep your loan for that period. Will you let me know whether this is agreeable to you? With my sincere thanks for your help, I am, With cordial regards, [[signature]] Paul L. Grigaut Paul L.
