Dear Dr. Jones:

How wonderful of you! The reproduction of the Vannuccio Crucifix arrived yesterday, and has already been the recipient of the greatest possible admiration. I really believe that those at Bob Jones University can do anything...the craftsmanship in every respect, color reproduction, cross shaped mount, yes, even the packing, were as near perfection as human beings can come. But the real magic is the pleasure your sending it on has given me. Thank you so very much, and do accept Mr. Seligman's as well as my congratulations on the dignity with which it has been carried out.

As a matter of fact, I had been intending to write telling you how pleased we were to see the full page reproduction in the "World's Most Unusual University" brochure which had arrived during my vacation and which I have already shown to quite a few visitors. However I was awaiting word from London as to the decision reached by the museum there on the PHILIPPE DE CHAMPAIGNE "Vision of St. Joseph"......so I hope to be in touch with you again very shortly about it.

With repeated thanks, and very best wishes to your family and all those i met during my short stay,

Sincerely,

Mrs. Theresa D. Parker
