Dear Mrs. Parker:

When Dr. Jones called long distance yesterday, I had an opportunity to mention your letter to him, and he was glad to know of the date of your visit. We are delighted that you are making your plans to visit our gallery, and Dr. Jones was happy to know that you are staying over to see the opera.

This morning I called the Poinsett Hotel, and they are holding a room for you for the night of the 12th. Since the campus is about three miles from the city, I would suggest that you call us here, so that we can have someone pick you up at the hotel and bring you to the campus; and if you will let us know when you are arriving, we would be glad to meet you at the train station. Our telephone number is 2-6711.

All who have seen our gallery agree that Dr. Jones has done a wonderful job in assembling the collection, and I know Dr. Jones is looking forward to showing you the gallery.

Sincerely yours,
Pauline Rupp
Secretary
