December 6th., 1956.
Dear Miss Rupp:
Thank you very much for your letter of the 26th., on behalf of Dr. Jones.

I am delighted that I shall be visiting the University and seeing the collection of which I have heard so much. December 12th. would be best for my schedule, so if that day is still agreeable to Dr. Jones I will arrive on the afternoon train that day.
May I ask you to reserve a room for me at one of the hotels, as of course I would enjoy attending the Barber of Seville too.
My slight delay in writing you was caused by an absence form town.
I am looking forward with the greatest pleasure to my first (and I trust no last) visit to Greenville.
Yours very sincerely,
Miss Pauline Rupp, Secretary to Dr. Bob Jones, Jr.
Bob Jones University,
Greenville, South Carolina.
