BOB JONES University
GREENVILLE-SOUTH CAROLINA

Dear Mrs. Parker:

Fortunately, your letter came just before Dr. Jones called long distance from Greensboro, where he will be for the entire week. From there he goes to Baltimore and then on up to Michigan, where he has been preaching engagements in three different cities in as many nights.

This means that Dr. Jones will not be returning to the University until December 10. He said to tell you that he will be here on campus that entire week with the exception of a dental appointment on the 13th and an engagement in Columbus, Georgia on December 15th.

It would be nice if you could come on Tuesday or Wednesday, since our Opera Association is presenting THE BARBER OF SEVILLE both of those nights (11 and 12). This is one of our major productions of the year, and I am sure you would enjoy it.

Dr. Jones said he will be looking forward to seeing you and said he was sorry that it does not work out for you to come right away. He sends along his greetings and best wishes to you.
             Sincerely yours,
 [[Signature]] Pauline Rupp
                Secretary

Transcription Notes:
I noticed the start of a word beginning with "pr" towards the end of the document (near the word "secretary"), I am not sure if that should be included so I took the liberty of omitting it.
