Dear Mr. Seligman:

Thank you for your letter of November 11, which has come in the absence of Dr. Jones, Jr., from the campus. Dr. Jones left the University last week for Pueblo, Colorado, and he will not be returning for another week.

However, when Dr. Jones called long distance today, I mentioned your letter to him, and he appreciated your writing him. He said that he hopes some day to add some more French paintings to the collection; however, at the present time his funds are limited, and he is having to curtail his purchasing for the time being. Dr. Jones was glad to know that you were pleased with the catalogue, and he sends his greetings to you and Mrs. Parker.
