Dear Mrs. Parker:

Thank you for your September 30 letter which has come in Dr. Jones' absence. When he called long distance, however, from Boston, where he is for some speaking engagements this weekend, I told him that you had written that the Vannuccio was still not available. Dr. Jones appreciated your writing and asked me to thank you for letting him have this word.

I am sure Dr. Jones will stop in to see you on Monday if he possibly can.
