Dear Mr. Seligman,
I found your welcome letter of September 16th awaiting me when I got back from Italy. It is really very good of you indeed to have prepared a list of your Italian bronzes and marble sculptures, and I should be extremely grateful for photographs of the objects I have marked. I am returning one copy of the list. I can see no prospect at the moment of getting to New York, but I should be very greatly interested to see a photograph of your French bronze. It was a great pleasure to see you in London earlier in the summer, and I hope that before long you will be here again.

Yours sincerely,
John Pope Hennessy
