Dear Mr. Cecil,
From our correspondence with Mr. Francis Watson, you know that we hope to have published shortly the book in which part of the Wallace-Bagatelle inventory will appear. As I promised you, quite a few years back, as soon as this will have been accomplished, I will forward to you the whole inventory as we have it.

Meanwhile, I thought it would interest you to have the reproduction (taken from the sales catalogue) of the Casanova set of furniture which was included in an anonymous sale in Paris last spring. I did ask my secretary to add the details and I am sorry that it was done so inadequately as to spoil the appearance of the sheet. You will find stapled on the back the description from the sales catalogue. You remember that it appears on the photograph you have of the salon at Rue Laffitte. From my film in Paris, it went to Alfred Loewenstein, Brussels. Whether it was sold by his Estate or by some other party I would not now.

Trusting the above will be of use for your records, and asking you to kindly remember me to Mr. Watson, with personal regards,

Yours very sincerely,

Germain Seligman
