May 18, 1953

Dear Mr. Cecil:

Do have my very best thanks for your kind letter of May 1st and the very interesting photographs you were so good as to forward to me. I am indeed delighted to have them and may I ask you to let me know what your expenses were in this connection.

As regards the inventory of the Wallace-Bagatelle collection I see no reason why I should not be able to take it to London sometime in the future and let you photostat it. I am not surprised to hear that the rates in London for such work are considerably lower than the New York ones and that was the reason, in fact, for my mentioning to you the figures that such an undertaking could involve.

According to my plans I hope to be able to conclude the manuscript of my book by the end of this year and should I achieve this I will be in a position to make this inventory available to you in 1954.

Please do feel at liberty to remind me of this in about a year's time, should this be agreeable to you.

With renewed thanks and kind regards,

Sincerely yours,

(Germain Seligman)
