Dear Paul:

When it was my pleasure of speaking to you over the telephone last week, did I understand correctly that you had returned my firm's three pamphlets I had turned over to you. Should this be correct, do let me say that they have not reached me yet.

However, if I misunderstood you, do not construe this note as rushing you in this respect - by all means do keep these brochures as long as they are of interest to you.

Meanwhile, let me wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
