Dear Mr. Seligmann:

Thank you for writing me about the very interesting drawings that have recently come into your hands. I honestly do not feel, however, that I would be able to interest any one in securing them at present, as those who are in the habit of giving us things from time to time have already done so much toward the new building. Unfortunately, the group that support us is not large and we can not call on a few to do everything for us.

I do not expect to be in New York until after Christmas and certainly hope to have the pleasure of seeing you then.

I was delighted to see de Hauke in Chicago the other day and had a very nice visit with him.

With kindest regards, I am
Always sincerely,
Russell A. Plimpton
Director.
