RUSSELL A. PLIMPTON, DIRECTOR

April 11, 1952

Dear Germain:

I have told Mr. Plimpton about the Rodin and very much hope that he will be able to see it in New York, which he plans to visit the week of April 21 or 28.

In the meantime, I wonder if you can send me a new photograph of the piece as well as its dimensions.

Our exhibition, WATERCOLORS BY THE MASTERS, DUERER TO CEZANNE, opens May 1. If we could include the Delacroix, we would appreciate it no end. Of course, we would be glad to take care of all expenses in connection with packing, shipping, and insurance.

I have kept a place open for the watercolor so that it can be included in our little catalogue. Thus, it would be all right to let us know at the last minute.

Sincerely,
Dick
