Georgia Spalding County

In person appeared before me an acting Justice of the Peace for said county Soloman W. Bloodworth, who being sworn saith, that the lot & appurtenances on Broadway in the city of Griffin in said county, about which there is a controversy between the agent of the Freedmeans Bureau & John Law was turned over by me to [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] Stoddan or some other [[foregone??]] auditor in payment of my debt, but as it has been fifteen years or longer since the transaction I do not remember distinctly the name of the auditor who got the property sworn to & subscribed before me this 10th July 1866
