We have no post office in this county and for this reason I have not seen any printed rules or acts of congress on this subject. If you could send me any printed regulations on this subject it would be an accommodation to me. My nearest post office is Dahlonega. If it is out of your line of business to act on this I would take it as a favour if you would mail this letter to the freedman's bureau.

As to myself I have been arrested in my own house taken to Dahlonega cramed in the jail there, then chained and sent to Atlanta where I was imprisoned for a month and not allowed as much provisions as would keep a dog alive  My house was searched and robbed five times. All this was done to me because
