Our job as clowns is to reflect back what we do every day, when no one is watching.
100 hrs per of rehearsal for 1 minute of routine, to get it down correctly.
Following the laugh = whatever works and gets a laugh, means the audience likes it, always looking to explore that further until the next thing happens.
What was Kenny's 1st costume
How did Kenny get started in clowning? 'cause he got interested in mime, but he wasn't very good so he started using props
How did Kim get started? Red Skelton show, after Lawrence Welk show; saw him live and started laughing which made him laugh,,, and stopped show for 10 mins. At intermission, he called for her to come backstage 
He said what do you want to do when grow up? She said "Be you." He ended up mentoring her through the years
Steve demos water spit gag
-Kenny + Steve demo double take gag + triple take gag (then had audience do to each other)
- hysterical laughing + stop on cue gag
-Steve = Auguste down = whiteface/leader (according to European tradition)/fall guy
-Kim uses walk-around prop demo "shave the whale" (oversized razor) "photo op" w/ kids (oversized camera)

That experience teaches patience, stillness and the value of taking your time. There is value in stillness.
