Story of how he started w/ Big Apple Circus as a cook.

Enjoyed finding interesting d/l historic plates to eat.

Cookhouse was circus's community center. People would stop by betwixt meals to meet.

Circus folks usually went off tent-lot in groups. Mostly stayed put. Recipe from Hazel at Carson and Jones.

Menu repation [reputation?]: [strikethrough] Fry [/strikethrough] Tried to not repeat same thing in a month.

At Walden NY Menonites (Brufferhoffer) would give fresh food to circus daily. In return, they got a special show.

Allergies: Not a good combo at circus. Mostly had to eat what was available.
