Rojindo Reyez- (Sun of miners) who taught a class = Chicano/Baniqua History. This inspired the creation of a [VOHRV] radio show to promote the issues/rights of this community through which he learned how to run a radio station program. Show after was about opera and the host taught him a lot about the radio discipline. Began by doing mixing on his show learned more & more.
-[uwvision] not really serving community. Prior, community TV hosts were local people not commercial & corporate like today...

NPR, Pacifica, [Univision]= not responsive to our needs, no place for us so we did it ourselves.
