This is a labor intensive dish because it has 40 layers of dough which is made by hand. Normally his dish takes 1 day to prepare.
1) years mixture (sugar)

Ingredients for Pakhlava
walnuts, sugar cubes (made into smaller cubes with a small hand tool)
walnuts are boiled

This recipe is specific to the region which was settled by Armenians migrants from eastern Turkey

Making Pakhlava is a family activity and each member has a task.
